Rating confidence
Reliability shows how much verified match history currently supports a player’s BDR.
Reliability is not a second skill rating. It is a confidence indicator that helps players and organizers understand how much approved evidence sits behind the displayed number.
How reliability develops
Reliability generally becomes stronger as more approved rated games are recorded across different opponents, partners, dates, and competitive settings. One event or a small group of matches may produce an active rating, but the profile can still be developing.
What reliability does not mean
A higher reliability percentage does not automatically mean a stronger player. It means the current rating is supported by more verified history. A lower percentage does not make a result invalid; it means the rating may still move more noticeably as new results are added.
Use it together with the full profile
Organizers should review rating, reliability, rating status, category, recent history, participation, and event context together. Numeric category targets and the proprietary formula remain protected.
